Donations

We hope that, after reading this and having an opportunity to review the website materials, you will joins us in building a dream.  Our dream is to build a Developmental Learning Center and Therapeutic Day School for children with autism - a placel that provides children with autism an opportunity to grow and to learn; a place where families can be supported and involved in the special needs of children with autism.

The Alexander Leigh Center for Autism will be a non-public, Developmental Learning Center with individualized curriculum and intense student teacher ratios. Our ultimate goal is the Therapeutic Day School. We estimate that the costs for starting up this special school will be approximately $500,000.  State funding from the Illinois State Board of Education covers only a portion of the annual cost of educating a child with autism.

We ask that you join us in building the Alexander Leigh Center for Autism.  Together we can provide a better opportunity for children with autism.  Any contribution that you decide to make, in cash, goods or services, will help achieve our dream.  Since the Alexander Leigh Center for Autism is a 501(c)(3) organization, any contribution that you decide to make will be tax deductible.  Our “Mural Campaign,” which will give contributors an opportunity to help populate our forest with trees made possible by your generous contribution.

Donations can be made payable to: The Alexander Leigh Center for Autism and then sent to P.O. Box 388, Cary, IL. 60013.
